Gastronomy: The typical dish of Torrevieja is the caldero, in which the ingredients are basically fish, in its different variations, and rice with the consommé from the fish. Nature parks: The nature park The Lagunas (lagoons) of Torrevieja and La Mata is one of the most important nature spots along the coast of Alicante.
