Furthermore, “the difficulties that come with entering the United States, such as the biometric security points and the vigilance towards foreigners in American airports, do not make travel there easy for tourists, who continue to prefer Spain,” explained Ignacio Vasallo, director of the Spanish Tourist Office in London during the annual convention of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA). This year’s convention will take place in Tenerife until next Saturday. More than 1,600 travel agents are expected to attend.
