Consumers in Norfolk should soon be able to benefit from six direct services to Spain, it has been revealed.
Michael Harrington, managing director of LTE International Airways, said the carrier intends to expand its presence at Norwich Airport.
This would allow people living in the region to benefit from a greater number of direct flights between Norwich and various Spanish destinations.
Speaking to the Eastern Daily Press, Mr Harrington commented: "Hopefully we will be the principal carrier from Norwich to Spain."
He added that while many airlines are struggling to deal with issues such as rising fuel prices, LTE already has a strategy for the future which it intends to stick to.
The comments come several days after the airline began operating direct flights between Norwich and Alicante.
LTE has taken over the route to the Costa Blanca resort which was controversially dropped by Flybe a year ago.
